Irunilamkode Temple is a historically significant Hindu temple situated in Mullurkara Panchayath, Thrissur District.The temple’s unique rock-carved idol of Lord Dakshinamurthi sits inside a natural cave, under the protection of the Archaeological Department of Kerala. Historians suggest that the temple was originally a Jain shrine, later transitioning into a Hindu temple.

The temple is known for its inclusivity, welcoming worshippers from all backgrounds long before Kerala’s Temple Entry Proclamation. Major festivals such as Shashti, Thaipooyam, and Maha Shivaratri are celebrated with grandeur.
